This event is for GAs/CAs, 1st-6th grades, and their chaperones. You will meet Mindy Jamison, a missionary from SC who is serving in New York City with Graffiti Church Ministries, play games, do camp activities, and participate in worship.
This is an overnight event (including three meals) at Camp La Vida and is $75 per person. You must have one chaperone per five children and you must have a female chaperone for female campers and a male chaperone for male campers. Chaperones will be housed with their campers from their church and males and females will be housed separately.

Virtual Cohort
Are you passionate about investing in the next generation of young women?
Join SC WMU for Called Cohort, a six-week Christian leadership cohort designed to encourage and equip women who desire to minister to and disciple teen girls.
Over six weeks, participants will gather virtually to grow in their leadership, discover practical ways to disciple teen girls, and explore what it looks like to live on mission with God right where He has placed them.
Each week, you’ll receive biblical teaching, engage in meaningful discussion with other like-minded Christian women, and gain practical leadership resources you can carry into your ministry and everyday life.
Throughout the cohort, participants will walk through Show Her the Way by Mary Margaret West. Your book is included with registration and will be mailed to you prior to the start of the cohort.
What to Expect
Throughout the six weeks, you can expect:
Biblical teaching and encouragement
Practical tools for ministering to and discipling teen girls
Meaningful discussion with other Christian women
Resources to help you grow as a leader
Opportunities to reflect on your calling and purpose
A supportive community of women seeking to live on mission
This cohort is designed to be a place where women can learn, grow, connect, and discover what it means to answer God’s call to invest in the next generation.

Collection Day for 2026 Prisoner Packets will be Tuesday, December 8, at NewSpring Church, 657 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC
Churches deliver packets to your local Baptist Association Office. Contact your Association Office for their due date.
Once the packets arrive at NewSpring Church, volunteers check contents, add Christmas Card and Scripture booklet, and prepare packets for distribution by chaplains.

SC WMU Women’s Christian Leadership Cohort
For six weeks, women will participate in a weekly virtual cohort meeting to discuss different topics related to Christian leadership. Each meeting will be 1 ½ hours and participants will be encouraged to do some light prep work before each meeting (read an article, answer a few discussion questions, etc.). Those who complete the cohort will then be encouraged to register for the SEBTS GO Certificate in Women’s Missions Leadership. Participants who complete the cohort and register for GO certificate courses will receive a discount on their GO certificate courses.
