Troy Coates serves as the Business/Maintenance Manager of Camp La Vida, which is owned and operated by the South Carolina Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). He began his work there in 1999.

 Before he accepted the opportunity with WMU, he served in the South Carolina Army National Guard, with over 10 years of experience working on helicopters. He felt confident that he could transition to care for the Camp in the manner it deserves.

 When he isn’t at work at Camp, you may find Troy hunting, fishing, hiking, or just relaxing with his family.
