Melanie has served with SC WMU as a ministry assistant for nearly 20 years. Her responsibilities have included assisting four field service staff members, working with the Executive Board, working with volunteers, newsletter layout, and recording and packing Season of Prayer materials. She enjoys her behind-the-scenes role of supporting other staff members & WMU organizations in SC Baptist churches.

Currently, Melanie works with Jess Archer, Executive Director-Treasurer; Cindy Skelton, Children and Preschool Consultant; and Baptist Nursing Fellowship.

In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing and treasures time spent with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
