Kenna is a native of Columbia, South Carolina, and serves as the Camp La Vida Program Director with the SC WMU. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Anderson University and is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Kenna’s love for Camp La Vida began when she attended as a camper and continued as she later served on staff during college. Her experiences at camp played a significant role in shaping her heart for missions and discipleship. After college, she spent two years serving in Botswana, Africa, as a Journeyman with the International Mission Board. She has also served in children, youth, and music ministry for many years. 

Kenna loves seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus and discover more of who God has created them to be. She is passionate about helping children and students experience the grace of Jesus, grow as disciples, and understand God’s heart for the nations. She is especially excited to continue the legacy of Camp La Vida and create a space where campers can grow in their faith, build confidence and leadership skills, have lots of fun, and leave camp ready to live on mission.

In her free time, Kenna enjoys running, hiking, camping, paddling, making music, and anything creative. She is also the proud owner of her puppy Merlin.
