Jess Archer serves as the Executive Director-Treasurer of the South Carolina Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). She brings nearly a decade of missions experience to the role, having previously served on the Missions and Ministry team with Louisiana Baptists.

 A passionate advocate for missions and ministry, Jess earned her Master of Divinity with a specialization in Urban Missions from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010. Her academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to equipping others for gospel-centered service.

 Since joining the South Carolina WMU staff in the fall of 2022, Jess has been energized by the opportunity to lead and support all age groups across the state in their mission efforts. She is excited about what God is doing—and will continue to do—through South Carolina WMU.

 Outside of her ministry work, Jess enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, staying active through exercise and hiking, and exploring new restaurants.
