JC Way works with WMU at Camp La Vida, providing support across maintenance, grounds, and a variety of operational needs, helping ensure a safe and smooth experience for summer camps and off-season groups. He joined the Camp La Vida staff in March 2025 after previously serving on summer staff multiple times.

Actively involved in his church, JC plays in the worship band and runs sound, building on years of ministry experience. He assists with Sunday services, rehearsals, audio setup, and technical troubleshooting, and he enjoys using his skills to support both the worship team and the congregation.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Charleston Southern University, where he also served on the chapel worship band. During his time at Charleston Southern, he gained valuable technical skills and practical experience, while continuing to grow his passion for worship and church ministry.

JC is a devoted fan of DC and Star Wars. He also enjoys playing guitar, gaming with friends, and watching movies with his family, using these activities to relax, have fun, and connect with the people he cares about.
