Cindy Skelton serves as the Children/ Preschool Consultant/Camp Program Director for South Carolina Woman’s Missionary Union (SC WMU).

As one who was shaped early by missions education, Cindy believes strongly in introducing young children to missions learning and experiences. Cindy earned her Master of Arts in Religious Education with a specialization in Recreation from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her passion for camp began as a camper at Camp Rawls and later as a camp staffer at Camp La Vida.

Since joining the South Carolina WMU staff in December 1993, she has enjoyed working with the camp staff and missions leaders across South Carolina. She enjoys helping others discover their gifts and how God can use those in missions, especially through WMU. 

Along with her husband, Rick, Cindy enjoys seeing God's natural world, especially walking in South Carolina's parks and visiting other sites. She also likes spending time with family and friends, which may include board games.
