The common “bond” of these words is The Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer. The Day of Prayer unites Baptist women across the world in a time of worship through prayers, praise and the giving of our monetary gifts. There are 7 Continental Unions and 151 countries represented by these unions and they will come together in their local area to pray on the first Monday of November. One of the goals for this observance is to encourage prayer as a vehicle for making changes in the world.

Check with your association and/or local church to see how your church can be involved in praying with women around the world for our world at this critical time. Join with your Baptist sisters around the world to come before Our Father’s Throne to pray on this special day!

If something is not planned for your association and/or area, consider meeting with others from neighboring Baptist churches or print the prayer guide (link below) and pray on your own!
