Families on Mission

Families on Mission® is a Woman’s Missionary Union® approach for involving families in missions. This approach for missions awareness and involvement may be churchwide (involving the church and its members and regular attendees in missions), or it may supplement age-level missions organizations and/or churchwide missions efforts.

This specific approach to family missions is primarily designed for the family with preschoolers and/or school-aged children including teenagers.

Families on Mission helps parents and their children pray for missions, engage in missions, learn about missions, support missions, develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church and denomination. While all objectives are emphasized, the focus will be on hands-on missions involvement. Suggestions for missions awareness and involvement experiences will be age-appropriate.
